The short version

DongDong does not collect, send, sell or share any information about you. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What the app stores, and where

Your answers in the app (language, coach, equipment, intensity, workout length, the optional age range) and your workout history are saved only on your iPhone or iPad, in the app's own storage. They are included in your device backup the same way as other app data, under your own Apple account.

What the app sends

DongDong does not upload preferences, workout history or speech. All coach audio and exercise videos are included in the app itself. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

Optional voice control in the 1.2 update

Voice Mode is off by default. Speech is processed on your device using Apple’s built-in recognition. DongDong does not save recordings, collect voice data or upload your speech. Apple language models may need an initial download; there is no server-recognition fallback. Touch controls remain available on unsupported devices. Your selected recognition language, consent setting and guide-seen preference are stored locally. Coach narration and voice control can be enabled independently.

Deleting your data

Use "Reset" in the app's preferences, or delete the app. Either removes everything it stored.

Children

DongDong is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
